Have your say
As a curvy, chubby, fat, plus-size (the names list goes on) girl / woman / lady, my fashion choices and styling seem limited. Of course its not - the only limitations there are, are those I set for myself.
However, there are rules, there are do's and don'ts. So my questions to you:
* What are your rules?
* What advise would you give a curvy girl when dressing / accessorising ?
* What would you warn her against wearing?
Be it style, colours, patterns, dresses, heels and accessories, let me know.
Whether you're a luscious curvy girl yourself, an impartial observer or a stylish fashionista, no matter what your size, give me your opinion. Any and all tips are appreciated!!
((I'm keeping this on top for a while...))

This is *such* an interesting topic... nothing is worse than woman who feel they can't dress nicely, or stylishly because of their weight.
I truly believe that - no matter your height/weight/skin tone - you can be well dressed and gorgeous... doll, there's actually a quote - someone, i'm not sure who.. which i love
"There is no such thing as a unattractive woman - only a lazy one" <- So fucking true!
So, i wouldn't say i'm any kind of fashionista - but i manage to dress myself every morning...
So to answer your questions...
* What are your rules?
Smooth lines... if anything is squishing out - it's TOO tight.. take it off and throw it out.
Never ever more than THREE colours max. You're not a christmas tree.
Always have a focus point, be it gorgeous shoes, a lovely necklace, damatic make up. But never more than one!!!! You don't need to do EVERYTHING at once.
* What advise would you give a curvy girl when dressing / accessorising ?
The focus point - is always good...
Flowing lines... Don't box stuff... it just cuts you in half.
And don't be scared of fitting clothes... nothing is worse than dressing in a tent. Curves are goreous, they're sexy.. show them off.
Most NB..be confident, and LOVELOVELOVE your body.
* What would you warn her against wearing?
Jesus... fucking hectic prints - you look like a over sized jigsaw puzzel. Not good.
Short chinses bobs... you have a round face... you're now making it look FAT.
Anything that doesn't fit probably and makes you feel uncomfortable or self conscious... there is a HUGE difference between Tight and Fitted!
Right... i think that's it?!?! (i think i've done my own post on your blog!)
PS - meet you on Polyvore!

Love the comment from JHBPRINCESS, had a good chuckle. I don't have much to add but this.....
Don't wear clothing that makes you look like a "muffin top".
Try wear black, it is very slimming.
